4. Recording = Frame rate=20 per Camera (sec): Each=20 camera=92s recording rate is adjustable.

Default:  The default setting is as = followed [4 chan =96 30 fps / camera ~ 8 chan = =96 30 fps /=20 camera ~ 16 chan =96 8 fps / camera].

*If you increase = the speed=20 of a certain camera, the other cameras=92 speed will be decreased with 8 = & 16=20 chan.

=A7        =20 Quality: Set=20 screen quality from best, high, normal, low and = lowest.

ISDN or = Leased=20 circuit with router connection is possible and ISDN or PSTN can be used = to=20 connect to DVR without router directly. If you don=92t use remote = connection check=20 on   =93not = use=94=20

2.      =20 Password /=20 Confirm:=20 Enter=20 a 4 number password to log into the site from   center the=20 P.C.

 [password] :  enter the 4 number=20 password.

   [confirm] : re-enter the = password=20 to confirm.

3.       Emergency=20 Info:

a)      =20 Sensor for=20 Emergency:=20 If=20 the sensor detects any signal it sends alarm to the center with the = captured=20 image during the designated time.(You can assign the external sensor=20 numbers.)

b)      =20 Emergency Phone=20 Number:=20 When=20 you use PSTN for connection you can assign up to 2 phone numbers for = emergency=20 connection. When the first trial fails to connect, it tries to connect = to the=20 second number.

c)      =20 Transfer=20 Time:=20 You=20 can assign the time in sec. to transfer the image to the Center PC when = it made=20 a connection.  (If any = other signal=20 is detected during the transfer, DVR =20 transports the image from that time again.)

d)      =20 Emergency IP=20 Address:=20 Enter=20 the IP address on =93Emergency IP Address=94 to connect to a designated = site. (Under=20 LAN, Leased Circuit connection)

1.       Site=20 Information:  Enter=20 site code, location, model, =20 version, distributor, purchase date. It is important that you = enter the=20 site code and also remember it for remote viewing (When you try to = connect to=20 the site from the remote location, the system checks the site code and = password=20 together. And if they are not identical , it will be = disconnected)

2.      =20 Display Camera = status Bar:=20 This=20 bar displays on the main screen if selected.

 

3.       Display control = status Bar:=20 Display=20 occurrence of sensor signal.

 

4.       Display sensor = Status Bar:=20 Display=20 current status of control in surveillance mode. (On or Off)

 

5.      =20 Display Motion = Detection=20 Grid:=20 It=20 displays =93on=94 or =93off=94  = condition of=20 motion detection  under = motion=20 detection mode.

6.       Image=20 Transfer to Floppy Disk: If=20 you select this function, it stores the data in JPEG onto a floppy disk. = If you=20 don=92t select this function, it stores the data in BMP onto a floppy=20 disc.

7.       Clock=20 Display Format: It=92s=20 a format of displaying time. Select the type of display you = want.

8.      =20 Sensor = Type:=20 Select=20 =918 SENSOR=92 for use of  = 8 Sensor, and=20 =9216 SENSOR=92 for use of 16 Sensor. Proper number of  Sensor buttons will be = displayed in the=20 surveillance mode when you chose =91Sensor Type. You=92ll be able to see = the proper=20 number of buttons in =91Hardware setup=92 and =91communication=20 setup=92.

Sound card should be installed In order to record sound data.=20 (Checking on =93Audio save enable=94 will be checked off automatically = when your=20 system doesn=92t have a sound card.)

b)      =20 Audio Playback = enable:=20 Check=20 on =91Audio play enable=92 after selecting the camera to played. Sound = will be=20 played with the video signal.

2.      =20 Camera:=20 Select=20 the camera number to save and play the sound. Sound data can be recorded = only on=20 one channel now. You can choose the camera to record the=20 sound.

a)      =20 VGA:=20 Select=20 the type of VGA. Proper VGA is set in the factory

b)      =20 Control Card Port: = Select=20 Com port of Control card. Correct port is selected in the = factory.

1.       Enable=20 Camera

a)      =20 Current=20 Camera:  You can activate the Motion = Tracking=20 function when you have a proper speed dome camera. You need to select the camera for motion tracking = in order=20 to setup in detail.

2.      =20 Start = Position:=20 This=20 configures the starting point of the camera. Input the position of the=20 starting=20 point=20 in Pan and Tilt.

a)      =20 Screen=20 Value:  You can get the rectangular = value of the=20 current position of the camera by clicking this button.

b)      =20 Move=20 Camera:  This button moves the camera = to the=20 configured position.

c)      =20 Return=20 Start Position:  The dome=20 camera=20 goes back to the starting point when it stops tracking a moving object = after the=20 value in seconds.

3.       Range:

a)      =20 Pan:=20 You can assign the angle to move left and right. The camera moves from = the=20 =91start position=92 that you set in =91Start Position=92. The maximum = value in left and=20 right is 40 degrees. The sum of value in left and right can=92t exceed = 360=20 degrees. If the sum of the value exceeds 360, the value will be adjusted = automatically.

b)      =20 Screen=20 Value (Pan):=20 You can get the current camera position by clicking this=20 button.

c)      =20 Enable=20 (Pan): If=20 you check on this box, the camera will move within the value of the=20 angle

d)      =20 Tilt:=20 You=20 can assign the minimum angle in Tilt based on the value you put on = =91Start=20 Position.

e)      =20 Screen=20 Value (Tilt): You=20 can get the current minimum value of Tilt by clicking this = button

f)        =20 Enable=20 (Tilt): If=20 you check on this box, the camera will move within the value of the=20 angle

4.      =20 On/Off = Time:=20 You=20 can select the time to activate the Motion Tracking function. The = default value=20 is 00:00 ~ 24:00 (continue for 24 hours). The camera works in Pan/Tilt = mode=20 outside of the configured time.

a)      =20 Disable=20 PTZ mode: Disables=20 PTZ mode from the Motion Tracking camera. If you don=92t select this, = both Motion=20 Tracking and PTZ will be used.

5.       Set=20 Value:  

a)      =20 Pan Angle: = Adjust=20 this value when the selection box is outside of the position in left and = right=20 you selected.

b)      =20 Tilt=20 Angle:=20 Adjust this value when the selection box is higher or lower than the = position=20 you clicked.

c)      =20 Sensitivity:=20 If=20 you make this value higher the camera movement will be more sensitive = and vice=20 versa. You need to adjust this value properly depending on the location = since=20 Motion Tracking might move even due to a little light if it is too=20 sensitive.

d)      =20 Camera Flip: = Use=20 this function when the dome camera is flipped. When the dome camera is = installed=20 in flip the dome camera will work in reverse. Therefore, it might look = broken.=20 In order to prevent that kind of problem this function might be=20 used.

 

 

13. Storage=20 Setup:

 

 

1.       Scroll Allocation=20 Menu:=20 Display=20 the Hard Drive that is allocated. =20 Data regarding possible disk space and allocation status for each = drive=20 will be shown.

2.       Modify Storage = Structure:=20 You=20 can change the allocation on each drive here.

a)      =20 Click=20 on this button, then close Setup and DigiNet Site.

There=20 are two types of searches in your DigiNet software, Basic Search mode = and=20 Intelligent Search Mode.  = Below is=20 the basic search mode for DigiNet Site software:

1.      =20 Audio: = When=20 you click this icon, the audio play configuration window appears.  Select your settings for audio = play=20 back. Check on =93Enable=94 on =91Audio Play=92 item. Adjust the=20 volume.

 

 

2.      =20 Screen=20 Divisions:=20 4,=20 6, 9, 10, 13, 16 split-screens will appear according to the number of = cameras=20 automatically.

 

 

1.     =20 Camera:=20 Click=20 the camera to search. If you click the desired camera, the color of the = button=20 will be changed as illustrated below.

 

 

2.     =20 Recording will = search:=20 If=20 you don=92t record while searching, the searching gets faster.  If you want to record it again = click the=20 button again.

3.     =20 Bright / = Zoom:=20 Adjust=20 brightness / zooms of the image Adjust in or out

 

 

4.     =20 Calendar: = Clicking=20 on this button displays date, month, year, hour and minute.

5.     =20 Skip: You=20 can playback skipping the selected number of images. Ex. 1(skip 1 image) = ~=20 30(skip 30 images)

6.     =20 Delay: = Time=20 for 1 searched image to be displayed on the screen.    Ex. 0 (fastest) ~ = 50=20 (slowest)

1.  The timeline can be expanded = or reduced=20 into three types.  As each = time, you=20 click on the timeline the time will expand or reduce the timeline. 

 

2.  This is where you can select = the=20 camera(s) that you want to view.  =20 In the above diagram, it shows that camera 1, 2, and 5 are = selected and=20 has recorded data from 7AM to 9:30AM.

 

3.  This is the scroll that you = can move up=20 and down to choose your camera.

 

4.  The timeline indicates that = there are=20 recorded data in three cameras 1, 2, and 5 from 7AM to 9:30=20 AM.

Contrast: = Adjusting=20 darkness of black and white shade

 

Smooth & = Sharpness:=20 This function smoothens out the rough image and adjusts blurry=20 image

Noise = Reduction:=20 Increasing=20 and decreasing noise for a particular picture.

Deskew:=20 This function is flatting out and rotating the image.  This function will = enhance a=20 picture that recorded from a twisted view.

Gamma=20 Correction: This=20 function is used when a value between brightness and contrast need = to be=20 adjusted.  This is = use=20 especially when the colour of recorded image looks = unusual.

Restoration:=20 This=20 function allows users to return to the original picture if the = picture was=20 formatted

Skip

This=20 function allows users to increase the frame rate=20

Delay

This=20 function allows users to slow down the frame=20 rate.

If=20 your DigiNet system is connected to a network or local printer, a = single=20 picture can be printed

Data=20 Backup: Users=20 can backup recorded picture in a floppy disk or CD.

Bookmark:=20 This function will register the location of the current search = data in the=20 DigiNet=92s memory for easy search at a later=20 date

Voice=20 playback:=20 This function will activate the recorded=20 voice.

Recording=20 status while searching:=20 Searching speed will increase if users turn-off=20 recording

Mover=20 to the selected date and initial = data

Playing=20 one picture backward

Reverse=20 playback

Stop

Forward=20 playback

Playing=20 one picture forward

Move=20 to very last data from selected = date

End=20 Search: Back to the main = screen.

This=20 function shows the image location on a bookmark while=20 searching.

When = adding to the=20 bookmark while searching, the image of your preferred time will register = date=20 and time from the bookmark list.

Description

You=20 can give simple explanation about the image location that is registered = to the=20 bookmark.

If=20 you do not input description, identical information with [Time = information] will=20 automatically inputted.

Add

This=20 function is to add the image location to the bookmark list while=20 searching

Image=20 time will be added to the bookmark list if you select [Add]=20 button.

Delete

This=20 function deletes the image location that is registered to he=20 Bookmark.

In=20 order to delete the registered image location, select the delete time = from the=20 bookmark list and then click [Delete]

Delete=20 All

This=20 function deletes all of the image location.

Warning:=20 [Delete All] function will delete all the image location at=20 ONCE.

Goto

This=20 function moves search date and time to the location you wish to put the = image=20

Select=20 [Goto] after selecting the time you wish to mover in order to move to = the right=20 location to put the image.

OK=20

Information=20 will be applied after adding/deleting the image location from the=20 bookmark

Selecting=20 [OK] button will also end the bookmark function and it will go back to = the=20 search screen

 

16.4  Save Recorded Video On Floppy = Or=20 CD

DigiNet=20 system allows you to save a single picture on a floppy disk or a number = of=20 events on a CD.  The=20 maximum-recorded video that you can record on a CD is 650 = Mbytes.  Please=20 follow the steps below to get further instruction:

Saving=20 a picture on A drive:

1.     =20 Click=20 on the Diskette Button to start Data Backup

2.     =20 A=20 new dialog box will appear

3.     =20 Click=20 on A:\

4.     =20 Put=20 in a floppy disk in A drive

5.     =20 Click=20 on Save

6.      =20  A dialog box will appear = and ask=20 you if you like to install the watermark program, please answer=20 =93Yes=94.  This = program will=20 allow you verify if your picture has been tampered with or=20 not.

Saving an event on CD=20 Drive

4.     =20 Click=20 on Format (CDR/CDRW)

17.0  Remote Software (DigiNet=20 Center)

 

17.1 =20 Introduction:

 

Welcome=20 to DigiNet Centre Software.  = This=20 software allows users to look at their site remotely and search on any = recorded=20 video.  There are three = types of=20 media that you can see remotely: direct phone line, local area network, = and=20 high-speed Internet.  = Depending on=20 the choice of medium, each must be set up according to the technical=20 specification.

 

If your=20 system does not come with the DigiNet Center software you can go to the = backup=20 folder on your DigiNet Site DVR and burn it on a blank CD. 

 

After=20 you have installed the software in your desktop or notebook the system = will=20 automatically put an icon onto your desktop.

 

17.2  Installing DigiNet Center onto = your=20 computer:

 

If your=20 CD does not install automatically into your hard drive after inserted = into the=20 CD drive, you can go to your Windows Explorer and double clicks onto = your CD,=20 double click onto Data1 in the DigiNet Center software, and finally = double=20 clicks on the =93setup.exe=94. =20

 

After=20 installing your DigiNet Center software, modify your Display Properties = to=20 1024x768 pixels and True Color (32 bit).

 

17.3  Getting=20 Started =

 

By=20 double clicking on your desktop icon, DigiNet Center, the following = screen will=20 appear.

 

Main=20 Screen (DigiNet Center)

 

 

**Do=20 not type anything for the password. (Default is=20 blank)**

 

Once=20 you have pressed OK a new window will appear as below.  If you decided to enter a = password=20 please write it down following the steps, as the software=20 requires.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.     =20 Now:  To=20 activate the camera once your system has connected to the site=20 server

2.     =20 Search:  To=20 search for previous event that has been recorded or remotely or on=20 CD  

3.     =20 Setup:  To=20 setup your system configuration if you are using direct phone line or = local area=20 network (LAN or PSTN)

4.     =20 Connect:  To=20 setup your Site code, Password, and IP or telephone number for your = remote=20 site       =20

5.     =20 Disconnect:  To=20 disengage your transmission of video =20

6.     =20 Receive:  To see=20 the condition of data transmission

7.     =20 IP Address:  To=20 indicate the IP that it is receiving at the current time

8.     =20 Connect:  = Once=20 you are ready to see your remote site. =20 Click once onto the =93Connect=94=20 button

The following = window will=20 appear:         =20

 

1.     =20 Site code: = This=20 can fit up to 7characters and it must match with your =93Site code=94 in = yours=20 remote site.

2.     =20  Password: This=20 can fit up to 5 characters and it must match with your =93Password=94 in = yours=20 remote site.

3.     =20 IP address: = This=20 area allows user to enter IP address. =20 It does not work with domain name.

4.     =20 Location: This=20 allows users to enter name of the remote site.

5.     =20 Connect:  Once user enters the above = info,=20 =93Connect=94 will activate the viewing.

6.     =20 Add: Before=20 pressing connect, =93Add=94 allows user to save the information on the = white screen=20 for the next usage.

7.     =20 Delete: = This=20 button will deleted the saved information that user enter.

8.     =20 Cancel: Allows=20 user to cancel the connection

 

Once=20 the user presses connect the following window will appear to show the = status of=20 the connection.

 

 

A new=20 screen will appear as below:

 

 

Camera:=20 Select the camera that you would like to view by pressing on each of the = above=20 button.  Remember the more = camera=20 that you are selected the slower the frame rate will = be.

Control:  If your system is setup with = the=20 control, you can activate your control remotely, for example, opening a = gate or=20 turn on/off a light remotely.

Once=20 you have selected the camera, you can click on the =93Now=94 button and = this will=20 activate your camera (s).  = If you do=20 not select the camera and press now the following screen will=20 appear.

 

 

17.4  Search Screen: There=20 are two types of searches that you can do. =20 One is search the information that you recorded on your CD.  This does not need to connect = to the=20 Internet or the phone line.  = The=20 other search is to search remotely. =20 If you are doing a local search or via CD the following screen = will=20 appear:

 

Viewing searched = video=20 locally:

Click=20 on the =93Backup Data=94 and selected your CD drive.  Information will appear on the = Site Code=20 List, select your choice and press OK. =20 If you press =93Removal HDD Drive Data=94 the same screen will = appear, but=20 your video data come from internal or external hard drive.  Once you are in the search = page, select=20 the time, date, and camera and press play. =20 Look at the next picture to have a better=20 understanding.

 

 

Viewing searched = video=20 remotely:

Before=20 you can view your camera remotely, you must turn off your camera viewing = by=20 pressing =93Stop=94.  The = following=20 window will appear.

 

 

 

Camera:  Firstly, you must select the = camera that=20 you want to view then select the month, date, hour, and=20 minute.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After=20 selecting, your camera (s), date, and time, you can play forward or=20 reverse.

Backup:  You can save and print your = picture onto=20 a floppy disk or printer by clicking on this = button.

Bright/Zoom: Allows=20 user to adjust their picture.  = This=20 can be done only in the stop mode.

Display: Allows=20 user to exit into the main screen.

Skip: To=20 skip frame

Delay: To=20 delay the frame

 

17.5  Setup=20 Menu

About=20 DigiNet Center: This function allows users to find out about their = system and=20 setup their connection to view their camera=20 remotely. 

 

 

This=20 window provides information on your current computer and the version of = DigiNet=20 Center that you are using.

 

17.6  Setup=20 Configuration: 

Watermark:  This enables on/off watermark=20 (watermark: a function that allows users to see if the picture is tamper = or=20 not).

Received data save = setup: This=20 allows users to download video either on a search mode or display = mode.  It also stores the data on = your internal=20 hard-drive.

17.6  Modem: This=20 allows users to choose if they are using regular phone or LAN/High speed = Internet.
